Students already have a good knowledge base of reading, writing, and math from their school districts. eAcademy Alumni

eAcademy participants are not limited to those pursuing business endeavors, but include students interested in a diverse range of careers. Regardless of their life path, a growth mindset is beneficial to all students.

Questions

& how eAcademy answers them!

Are you prepared for life after high school?

Our program provides high school juniors and seniors with a unique year long immersive experience to develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills as well as confidence to be successful in life.

Would you enjoy getting out of the classroom?

Students are provided the opportunity to venture out of the classroom and get to know the surrounding business community on a monthly basis. These field trips allow students to see the business material they have learned applied in real businesses in our community.

Do you want to earn college credits?

Through PennWest Clarion, students are provided the opportunity to participate in online, dual-enrollment courses. Students do not have eAcademy on Fridays, providing time to work on these additional courses and get a jumpstart on their future education.

Are you tired of the traditional high school experience?

eAcademy provides students the opportunity to learn in a hands-on way, with a 75% facilitation and 25% lecture program structure. Students are able to directly apply what they learn in lecture to projects and witness it at work in real life with guest speakers and on our field trips.

Do you have an interest in learning how to thrive in a business environment?

Whether or not you have an interest in starting a business, managing one, or simply working in a business, the business world touches us all, and eAcademy can help students familiarize with the business world before they enter it.

Do you like technology?

Technology is a regular part of the eAcademy program. We have a 3D printer to be used by students for prototyping, and a computer is included in tuition that the students may keep upon graduation from the program.

Are you interested in meeting people?

Students will regularly hear from guest speakers on a variety of entrepreneurial and career topics. They will also receive the chance to interact with business owners and community leaders on our monthly field trips.
